Brian Dale Jacobs

Brian Dale Jacobs, age 34, of Erie, passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2023, at his home.

He was born on May 31, 1989, in Erie, PA, a son of Dean Jacobs and the late Stacy Chase Jacobs.

He was a graduate of Fairview High School, class of 2007, and enjoyed his career as a toolmaker. He apprenticed and worked at Penn Erie Tool for several years before most recently working at Rapid Mold in Erie. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, spending time outdoors, playing guitar, and watching UFC fights and other sports, as well as dabbling in any other hobby that caught his attention. He was a kind, soft-spoken soul who always saw the best in people.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Donald and Nadine Chase and paternal grandparents, Dale J. and Ruth E. Jacobs.

He is survived by his father and step-mother, Sheryl Jacobs; his sister, Katie Bohn (Dann) and their son Felix; step-sister Jill Iszkula (Steve) and their children Ben, Eli, and Ivy; and step-brother, Derek Connors (Amanda). He is further survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

 Friends may call on the family on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St. E., Girard, PA 16417 and are invited to a memorial service there on Wednesday July 26, 2023, at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.

 In lieu of flowers or donations, the family asks that people remember Brian by remaining aware of the mental health struggles that millions of people face every day.
