Brian Todd Edinger, age 59, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 13, 2024, at his home.
He was born in Erie on September 16, 1965, to Joyce (Mischler) Edinger Hersperger and the late Robert Patrick Edinger.
After graduation from Tech Memorial High School, he worked at various local businesses, including Super Duper, Festival Foods, Tops Markets, and Price Rite. Brian drove for Tony's Pizza, was an owner of a Stroehmann bread route and most recently worked at Plastek. He loved the outdoors especially deer and duck hunting and was an expert skeet shooter. Brian was a social guy, often seen at local clubs like the Knights of St. Johns and VFW Post 470, where he enjoyed spending time with friends. Brian had a huge heart and was always ready to lend a helping hand to neighbors and friends, whether it was mowing lawns or shoveling snow.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his brother, Robert B. Edinger and stepfather, Earl Hersperger.
He leaves behind to cherish him in memory, his loving girlfriend, Margo Strickland; mother, Joyce Hersperger and siblings, Laurie (James) Gray, Cheryl (Chris) Hersperger, Karen (Kevin) McKenna and Kristen Knost. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends are invited to an 11:00 A.M. memorial service at Burton Quinn-Scott Cremation & Funeral Services Inc. Downtown, 602 West 10th Street on Friday, January 24, 2025. Burial to follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
