My wings were ready, my story is written.
Hello;
Brenda Mae Eddy 72. My parents first born, on Independence Day. Lighting the sky up July 4, 1949. I passed away peacefully on October 23, 2021 at LECOM Senior Living Center, surrounded by so much love and care and to see my family. As the first born I walked with purpose, meaning, and happiness. Keeping the Lord in my presence every step I take. So thankful for my extraordinary loving parents (father) Earnest E. Crockett, (mother) Ruby Mae Crockett (Decker). My life had an amazing path of wisdom, knowledge, and experience. I grew up in Erie, PA and continue to have many families, friends, and memories. I was married in 1967 to my devoted husband, Everett “Monster Man” Eddy. Then another blessing lighting our skies and hearts with 2 precious sons; Everett Eddy Jr., and Rodney L. Eddy. As a family we lived life, traveled and enjoyed the world. I maintained professional careers in Cosmetology and retired from Hamot Hospital. As years passed, home is where the heart is. I settled back in Erie, PA, continued to raise my family, always keeping the Lord close step by step. I enjoyed reading the Bible with mom, I had beautiful handwriting, never forgetting a letter to friends and family afar. The phone calls to mom ten times a day, attending church with mom, and my favorite was the teachings at Sunday school. I loved to cook and bake, putting smiles in faces. God gave me grandchildren and those kids have been such fun to be around. My husband and I love them so much. I was diagnosed with type 1 Diabetes, a long and fearless fight. I ran the race set out before me, always close to God, knowing one day He would need me back. Trust me, I will still see fireworks lighting up the heavens on my day, July 4th. My family made me the happiest, and for them, remember the best times, the good life I lived while I was strong. I am now resting in the arms of our loving Father and joining the ones before me.
Thank you for taking a moment out of your day to read about me from me. Hopefully I made you smile.
