Brandon John Kendra

Brandon John Kendra, age 38, of Erie, passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at UPMC Hamot Hospital.He was born on October 2, 1985, in Erie, the only son of Mark and Carol (Dunn) Kendra.

Brandon graduated from McDowell High School and most recently he worked as a laborer at Frontier Lumber. He will be remembered for his contagious laugh, huge heart and willingness to help anyone. Brandon was close with his family and particularly adored his daughter. He enjoyed taking road trips, often quite spontaneously, but his passion was riding his motorcycle.

Brandon was preceded in death by his nephew, Damen Davidson.

In addition to his parents, he leaves behind to cherish him in memory, his beloved wife of 8 years, Rachel (Polancy) Kendra; daughter, Natalie (11), stepson, Jacob (9), sister, Cassandra Zipperi (Christopher) and nephew, Dakota Davidson. He is further survived by his mother-in-law, Shelley Peters (Brian), father-in-law, Richard Polancy and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Family and friends may call at Burton Quinn-Scott Cremation & Funeral Services Inc. Downtown, 602 West 10th Street, Erie PA 16502, on Wednesday, September 18th, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Family is planning a memorial service at a later date with Grace Church in Harborcreek located at 2420 Cumberland Road.
