Blaine V. Minhinnick, age 88, of Fairview and Punta Gorda, FL., passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at his residence.
He was born in Erie on October 2, 1933, a son of the late Alfred & Leda Virtue Minhinnick. Blaine was a 1951 graduate of Lawrence Park High School and Penn State University with s BA/BA degree in 1959. He was a proud member of the US Army, serving during the Korean Conflict. Blaine was employed as an industrial sales engineer until his retirement. He was a member of many clubs and organizations including the Zem Zem Shrine, Erie Maennerchor Club, Erie Yacht Club, Tyrian Commonwealth Lodge #362, AASR-Valley of Erie, Arab Patrol, Camel Herders Stable #44, Elks Lodge #67, Cascade Parks Club, Sportsman Athletic Club and the American Legion Post 0494, He enjoyed tennis, sailing and football and most especially the many cars and boats he owned.
In addition to his parents, Blaine was preceded in death by his brother Gordon Minhinnick. He is survived by his wife Judith and daughters: Anne Whalen of Smyrna Ga., and Nancy Minhinnick of Fairview.
The family would like to thank the staff of Intrim Hospice for the excellent care and support they gave Blaine.
