Beverly Wisniewski

Beverly A. "Buzz" Smith Wisniewski, 66, of Erie, died on Thursday, June 30, 2016, at St. Vincent Hospital.  She was born on September 18, 1949, in Erie, daughter of Roy Smith and the late Anna Jean Brooks Smith.  A 1969 graduate of Wattsburg High School she worked as a telephone operator for GTE and later Verizon for 40 years retiring in 2008.  She loved sewing, watching old movies and collecting antiques, especially furniture and jewelry.
    
Her mother preceded her in death.

In addition to her father of Erie, survivors include two daughters, Andrea J. Wisniewski and Jillian M. Wisniewski both of Erie; two sisters, Mary Lou Gorny and husband George of Crystal River, FL and Debra Satlof and husband Michael of Winter Garden, FL; two brothers, Brian Smith of Rochester, NY and Michael Smith and wife Dee of Erie; a niece; a nephew; and several cousins.

A Celebration of Life Service was held at the convenience of the family.  Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Scott Funeral Home, 2104 Myrtle Street.
