Beverly Mcdonald

Beverly A. Torain McDonald, age 61, of Erie, passed away at her residence, surrounded by her family on Friday, December 29, 2017.

She was born in Erie, on January 31, 1956, a daughter of the late James P. and Lorraine Brown Torain.

Bev graduated from Strong Vincent High School and had worked as a nurse’s aide at Independent Court. She was a member of the Erie American Legion Post #700.  Bev loved shopping and above all, she loved her family.

She is survived by her husband, James McDonald; daughter, Darcy Roberts; son, Devon Roberts and her brother, Alton Torain.  Bev is further survived by five grandchildren, Dashawn, Dante, Desiree and Dionna Pulliam and Damarius Roberts.

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 602 W.10^th St., Erie on Friday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 1p.m.
