Beverly Gorr

Beverly Conboy Gorr age 81, of Erie, passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2016 at her residence.

She was born in Warren, Pa on June 11, 1935 a daughter of the late Gerald and Naomi Ruhlman Conboy.

Beve graduated from Strong Vincent High School in 1952.

She worked as a manager for JC Penny’s and at Paris Cleaners for many years.

Beve enjoyed boating, watching and talking politics, and bathing in the sun. She also enjoyed reading magazines, keeping up on the latest trends and shopping. She was a love of animals where she enjoyed the companionship of her dogs, Maggie and Scooter over the years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter and the love of her life, Kimberly Gorr- Scott in December 2015.

She is survived by two brothers, Kelly Conboy of Erie; Craig Conboy and his wife Kim of Charlottesville, VA and her nieces and nephews, Carrie McAdams and her husband Chris and their children, Macey, Ally and Jace of Erie, Katie Conboy and her fiancé David of Erie, Hunter and Katie Mary-Conboy and their son Austin of Erie, Gabrielle Conboy of Erie, Logan Conboy of Erie, Caryn Rehme and her husband Hans and their children, Calie, Hans and Carly of Powhatan, VA, Cammie Nicely and her husband Tony and their children, AJ and Emily of Chesterfield, VA, and Chris Conboy and his wife Lindsay and their children, Sydney and Drew of Towson, MD, longtime friend Ron Gerono and family of Erie, and her beloved hairdresser Carol Corsi of Erie.

Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 W. 26th Street (at Powell Ave) on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service at 7:00 p.m.
