Betty Wagner

November 24, 1922 — April 20, 2017

Betty J. Wagner, age 94, of Lake City, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Pleasant Ridge Manor.

She was born in Milroy, Pa on September 24, 1922, a daughter of the late Russell W. and Mary Ethel Henry Pecht.

Betty graduated from Milroy High School and then worked at Stouffer Frozen Foods for over 10 years. She later became a caregiver.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Girard.
Betty loved bowling. She was a member of Lake City Lanes where she competed at states and nationals for the past 13 years.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, June Karchner and Patty Klose; and a brother Dennis Keith Pecht.

Betty is survived by a daughter Bonnie L. McShane of Erie, a son William W. Wagner and his wife Ruth of West Springfield, five grandchildren, Debbie Morgan, Deneane Gehrlein (Marty), Sherry Black, Lynn Hollis (Dennis) and Bill Wagner (Jaime); eight great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and a brother Russell William Pecht of Lewistown, Pa.

Friends are invited to a memorial service at Burton Westlake Funeral Home, 3801 W. 26th St. (at Powell Ave.) on Monday at 3pm in the All Faith Chapel with Pastor Nicola Vitiello officiating.

Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Girard 260 Main Street East, Girard, PA 16417.
