Betty Recicar

Betty Gallagher Foht Recicar, age 98, of Port St. Lucie, FL passed away on Monday January 7, 2013.

She was born November 21, 1914, daughter of Barbara Wellinger and Frank Gallagher.

Betty assisted her husband Howard J. Foht with his retail business for many years. She was also a dedicated homemaker as well as a skilled seamstress. She volunteered many years at South Miami Hospital.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her first and second husbands; Howard J. Foht and Aloysius B. Recicar.

Survivors include her daughter Joan Foht Bert (J. Boyd) of Erie and Ft. Pierce, FL. And a granddaughter Linda Bert Warren and her husband Ethan of Marblehead, MA. Betty also leaves two grandsons John B. Bert III (Anne) of Weston, FL. and Douglas H. Bert (Randi) of Erie, PA. along with great grandchildren Caleb, Nathan and Hannah Warren, Sean and Kristen Bert, Rachel, Travis and Aliza Bert. Alyssa Hays (Paul) and Cameron Speader, step great grandchildren. Finley and Charleigh Hays, great great grandchildren of Cincinnati, OH.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday at 11:00 am at Harbor Place Chapel, 3700 SE Jennings Rd., Port St. Lucie, FL.
