Betty M. Lipinski age 81, of Millcreek, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family.
She was born in Brookville, PA on August 26, 1931, a daughter of the late William and Albena Coy Beers.
Betty worked at St. Joseph's Orphanage for many years, caring for the babies and infants there.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.
Betty enjoyed crocheting, cooking, camping with her family and listening to music.
She will always be remembered for the love and kindness she gave to all she knew.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James S. Lipinski, a brother Kenneth Beers, a great grandson, Xavier Simos, an uncle, Fred Coy and a cousin, Mary Coy.
She is survived by five daughters; Marsha Trabold (Donald) of NC, Janet Craig (Jerry) of Erie, Barbara Simos (John) of Erie, Cindy Rabbitt (Jim) of CA, and Debbie Dedad (John) of Erie; a son, Gary Lipinski (Cecilia) of AZ; a sister, Dorley Caylor (Lloyd); a cousin, Carol Horton; 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She is further survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 W 26th Street (at Powell Ave) on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Michael Kuvshinikov officiating.
Burial to follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
