Betty Lou Kinney

Betty Lou Kinney (Talbot), age 82, of Erie passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at Fairview Manor.

She was born in Staunton, VA on July 15, 1941 a daughter of the late George Booth and Lena Marjorie Cook.          

She was a member of The Family Church of Erie.

Betty Lou enjoyed going to church and her bible study. She was a woman of deep faith that shown through to those around her. She enjoyed reading and was always a fan of a good mystery. She enjoyed The Statler Brothers who were from her hometown. She had a great love for cardinals and Elmo always made her smile. We will always think of her when we see them. Her favorite time was spent with family and friends and she was always in for a good game of Bingo or Uno. Her two great loves were her granddaughters, Brooke and Grace. She adored them and they were the lights of her life.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, James Kinney (’23) and Peter Talbot (’88)

She is survived by her son Rick Talbot (Eileen) and granddaughters, Brooke and Grace.

Friends may call on the family at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, West Ridge 3801 W. 26^th Street on Saturday, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. Burial to follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
