Betty Farver

Betty J. Farver age 95, formerly of Millcreek, passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Pleasant Ridge Manor.

She was born in Erie on June 28, 1921 a daughter of the late Newton D. and Esther Slater Tait.

Betty graduated from East High School. She retired from Loblaws after many years.

Betty was a member of Lakewood United Methodist Church. She loved the outdoors and gardening.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Seth “Bud” Farver; a sister, Emma Reiger; and a brother, Newton Tait.

She is survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Friends may attend a graveside service at Gate of Heaven Cemetery Mausoleum 5711 West Lake road, Erie, PA 16505 on Monday at 10:00 a.m. with the Rev. Robert Lewis officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 W. 26th Street, Erie, PA 16506.
