Betty J. Costello

Betty J. (Killian) Costello, age 96, of Erie passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at the Walnut Creek Healthcare & Rehab Center. She was born January 6, 1929 in Lake City, PA the daughter of the late George and Irene (Daugherty) Killian.

A lifelong resident of the Erie area, she had worked for 21 years at Erie Ceramics in the Deco Department. Betty also enjoyed doing word search puzzle books and cooking for her family and friends.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Curtis Elderkin; sister and two brothers.

Betty is survived by a son Robert Costello and his wife Madeline, and a daughter Patricia Elderkin, all of Erie. She is further survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren whose activities she loved to follow.

Friends are invited to call at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, West Ridge, 3801 West 26th St. on Saturday, February 22, 2025 from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm at which time Funeral Services will be held. Private burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
