Beth Cashdollar

Beth S. Cashdollar, age 96, of Lake City, passed away, Thursday, February 19, 2015 at Manchester Commons.

She was born in Pittsburgh on March 31, 1918, a daughter of the late Frederick and Lavina Trout Slaney.

Beth graduated from Oliver High School in Pittsburgh. She worked at the family business as a receptionist for many years. She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church in Lake City. Beth enjoyed playing cards and was a member of a card club. She loved her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Cashdollar; and two sisters: Marjorie Slaney and Ruth Owen; two brothers: Frederick and Clifford Slaney; son, Walter Richard Cashdollar; son in law, Peter Tagg; daughter in law, Constance Cashdollar.

Beth is survived by a daughter, Karen Ann Tagg of Virginia and a son: Kevin Cashdollar and his wife Sue Ann of Fairview. Four grandchildren: Jen Rohrer, Chris Cashdollar and his wife Miranda, Kurt Cashdollar and his wife Sarah, Justin Cashdollar and his wife Devyn; six great grandchildren: Callie and Bryant Rohrer, Sophia, Owen, Evelyn and Jack Cashdollar; former daughter in law, Nancy Cashdollar; as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Manchester Commons for their kindness and compassion over the years.

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St. East, in Girard, today from 6-8 pm and Saturday, from 10 am until the time of the service at 11am with Vicar Robert Burke officiating. Private burial will be at Girard Cemetery.
