Bernice Sadler

Bernice Sadler, age 83, of Erie, passed away at her residence, Sunday, September 26, 2021. She was born in Erie, October 18, 1937 to the late Joseph and Mary Zawodnik. Bernice was a graduate of East High School.

She was a member of Saint Stanislaus Church, she loved to crochet, do crosswords, garden, and bake, especially banana bread.

Bernice is survived by her children, Paul Sadler (Cheryl Wodecki), and Lisa Fulkrod, her sister in law Shirley Agnew, and a sister, Virginia Fitzpatrick. She is further survived by her grandchildren, Jeffrey King Jr. (Stephanie Thomas), Khristina King, Ryan Sadler, and a daughter in law, Colleen Sadler. Great grandchildren, Jaidyn Torress, Nijayah Santiago, Zhavia King, Derrick Chandler, and Brooklyn King, a sister in law Nancy Ozimek, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Bernice is preceded in death by her son, John Sadler in 2003, Gary Sadler in 2021, and her brothers, Jack and Joseph Zawodnik, and a grandson Greg Sadler in 2013.
