Bernadette Woodard

March 13, 1948 — September 24, 2016

Bernadette Marie (Freiburger) Woodard, passed away Saturday September 24, 2016 at St. Vincent Hospital.

Bernadette “Berni” was born on March 13, 1948 in Rupert, Idaho. She was the first child of Chuck & Dorothy Freiburger and their dream was to have four girls, four boys & a fireplace. Their "dream" indeed came true.

Bernadette wanted to let everyone know that she lived a great life and has done most of the things she set out to do. She has asked to be remembered for how she lived her life. She also asks those close to her to think of her when enjoying a beautiful summer day, just hanging out laughing and enjoying good food, a beer, fishing, family and friends.

She left a special message for her husband; “ Bob you complete me. You have been my rock & the sunshine of my life. I may be gone physically, but I will live on in your heart until the day we meet again. I love you.” To everyone else she leaves this message “I will miss each and every one of you, but as the stars twinkle in the night above and you look up; be reminded that I love you all and we will meet again one day.”

She was preceded in death by her father Chuck Freiburger, mother Dorothy Freiburger, brother Matt Freiburger and nephew's Ryan Rominger and Jeremy Jensen.

Berni is survived by her husband, Bob; three sisters, Patti Rominge,r West Point, Utah, Debbie Moser, Twin Falls, Idaho, Carrie (Ralph) Bott, Burley, Idaho; three brothers, Wally (Corina) Freiburger, Paul, Idaho, Jeff (Tari) Freiburger, Burley, Idaho, Scott (Robynn) Freiburger, Paul, Idaho. She is further survived by a brother-in-law Mark ; five sisters-in-law; Renee (Dave), Elaine, Cherie, Joy (Glenn) and Debra Kay and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

In keeping with her wishes services were private and entrusted to Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 West 26th Street Erie PA 16506.
