Bennett Alward

Those we have held in our arms for a little while, we hold in our hearts forever.

Bennett Nolan Alward passed away peacefully at birth on July 11, 2023, at St. Vincent Hospital.

Bennett is the son of Joseph and Alanna Alward of Erie. He was the answer to their prayers, and they waited for his birth with joyous expectation. Bennett taught his mommy and daddy more during his time on Earth than they have learned in their lifetime. He is loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Bennett was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Joseph and Leona Pettinato, Jack Alward, John Ryan and Florence McGuire, and James and Anna Foster.

He is survived by his parents, Joseph and Alanna Alward; paternal grandparents, Timothy and Lori Alward; maternal grandparents, Dennis Foster and Maureen McGuire; great-grandmother, Jean Alward; uncle Maxwell Foster; and aunt Abbey Alward (Nicholas Muller).

The viewing will be held at St. Patrick’s Church, 130 East 4^th Street, Erie, PA on Monday, July 24^th at 12:00 p.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 p.m.
