Beatrice “Bea” Estok, age 76 of Edinboro, PA, passed away at her home on
Sunday May 5, 2024.
She was born in Meadville, PA on February 4, 1948, to the
late John K. Schmitt and Doris Brant Holton.
Bea was a loving wife and mother. She enjoyed fishing and hunting with her
husband Bob, and spent much of her free time with family, reading, gardening,
sewing or watching her shows. One of her favorite things to do was cook and make
great meals for her family and friends. Anyone who stopped by to visit Bob and
Bea never went away hungry!
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Sherry
Jameson, Bonnie McKlveen and Jeanne Schmitt.
Bea is survived by her husband of 59 years, Robert Estok Sr., son, Rob (Vicki)
Estok of Edinboro, three daughters, Kimberly (Tim) Mercer of Monroe Tennessee,
Stacey (Brian) Coburn of Cambridge Springs, PA, and Amy (Luis) Fernandez of
Cambridge Springs, PA. Bea was also blessed with grandchildren and
great-grandchildren. She is also survived by siblings Susanne (Bob) Winters, John
(Lynn) Schmitt, Scott (Tracey) Schmitt, Tammy Schmitt, and many nieces and
nephews.
When a life is lost, what remains is a legacy. Bea’s legacy will live on through her
children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and beyond. We will all miss Bea, but we know that we will be reminded of her every time we see her son smile, hear one of her daughters laugh, or see the resemblance in her granddaughters. Just as Bea was created in the image of God and reflected His goodness through her love and care for her family, her life too will be reflected by the people she helped bring into this world. They will be her legacy, and therefore her legacy will live on.
