Barbara Neuroh

Barbara A. Cleis Neuroh age 70, of Millcreek, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at her residence.

She was born in Stowe Township, PA on June 26, 1943, the daughter of the late Earl F. and Charlotte Lind Cleis.

Barbara graduated from Meadville Area High School.

She was Vice President of Dealer Finance with PNC Bank in the Consumer Lending Department and a member of the American Institute of Banking and Retail Credit organization.

After 31 years in banking, Barbara retired to pursue her passion. She was a master needle worker and created many exquisite needle works of art. She opened her store Stitchin’ Stuff and was able to add finishing touches (framing) to many of her customers artistry throughout the Erie Area.

Barbara will be sadly missed by her family, friends, co-workers and customers.

She is survived by a brother, William E. Cleis and his wife Aleyda Kasten of VA; a niece Christina Chalmers and a nephew Brian Kasten.

Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 W 26th Street (at Powell Ave) on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. and are invited to attend a service there on Saturday at 9:30a.m. with Fr. Michael DeMartinis officiating. Burial to follow in Calvary Cemetery.
