Barbara Mazzone

Barbara Mazzone, age 57, of Oak Ridge, TN and formerly of Erie, PA passed away Saturday, December 5, 2020 at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, TN.

She was born in Erie on April 10, 1963 a daughter of the late Gaetano and Louise Lombard Mazzone.

Barb graduated from Technical Memorial High School and Mercyhurst College with a bachelors in Social Work and Masters in Hospital Administration.

She worked for the United States Government in the Y-12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, TN as a configuration management analyst for the Projects Engineering Group

She lived life to the fullest.  She loved to travel with her grand nephews.  She also enjoyed baking, gardening, needle point, and watching her team The Dallas Cowboys.

Barb is survived by her siblings, Karen Mazzone of Erie; David Mazzone of FL; nephews, Warrant Officer 1 James Young II and his wife Nikki; and David Mazzone; nieces, Melissa Young Wattle and Christina Mazzone-Jackson; and five grand nephews; Brent Austin, Jaden Young, Nico Young, Diavonnie Young, Julian Young, and 2 great nephews.

Private services were held at Burton Quinn Scott West Ridge, 3801 W. 26^th St., Erie with burial at Calvary Cemetery.
