Barbara Majchrzak

     Barbara J. Sherman Majchrzak, 73, of Erie, died Sunday, December 7, 2014, at St. Vincent Health Center.  Formerly of Ottawa Apartments. 
     She was born July 25, 1941, in Erie, daughter of the late Zigmont and Martha Duchnowski Sherman.  A lifelong resident of Erie, she graduated from East High School Class of 1956.  Mrs. Majchrzak worked in sales for Sears Roebuck on State Street for several years, and also worked for Troy Erie Laundry and most recently for VIP Laundry & Dry Cleaning, Powell Avenue, for over thirty years retiring in 2012.  She enjoyed crocheting.
     She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Majchrzak in 1985; sister, Joyce Sherman; and three brothers, Henry, Alfred and Donald Sherman.
     Survivors include her daughter, Christy Muldrew and husband Dondra of Erie; a sister, Irene Sampson of Las Vegas, NV; and several nieces and nephews.
