Barbara Depaulis

Barbara Huey DePaulis, age 92, of Erie, passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at UPMC Hamot.  She was born in Erie on June 17, 1929, the daughter of the late Robert C. & Mildred (Robb) Huey.

She attended school at Emerson, Gridley, Strong Vincent, and Mercyhurst College for 2 years.  She was a 1947 graduate of Strong Vincent and was employed at LORD Corp. for almost 32 years.  She was a member of the Erie Yacht Club and the Lord Quarter Century Club.  Always dolled up, Barbara enjoyed socializing and playing games with family and friends. 

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Harry E. DePaulis.  

She is survived by her daughter, Betsy A. Riehl, husband Chip, of Erie; two granddaughters, Heather C. Riehl of Erie and Kelly R. Conroy (Brandon) of Cranberry Township; two great grandsons, Tyce and Coby; two step daughters, Cynthia D. Sherly of Lewes, DE, and Carol D. Bongers (Michael) of Avon Lake, OH, and their families, as well as special friends, the Kubeja family. 

Friends are invited to call upon the family at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services, Downtown, 602 W. 10^th St., Erie on Saturday, January 8, 2022 from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 11am.  Private burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
