Audrey Ohman

December 25, 1918 — May 5, 2014

     Audrey Mae Greenwald Ohman, age 95, of Erie died on Monday, May 5, 2014 at St. Mary's at Asbury Ridge after an extended illness.  She was born in Erie, Pa on December 25, 1918 to the late James P. and Catherine McCauley Greenwald.  Audrey worked as a bookkeeper at the John August Industrial Supply for 20 years.  She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, St. John's Young at Heart, Wesleyville Keenagers, and Lake Erie Republican Women.
     In addition to her parents, Audrey was preceded in death by her husband Carl Oscar Ohman (1973); daughter, Diane Ulrich (1996); brother, Arthur Greenwald; sisters, Dorothy Graham, Marjorie Thompson and Marian Hafenstiner.
     She is survived by her daughters, Ellen Barnes and husband Phil of Newark, NY, Susan Miller of Naperville, IL, and Judith Glennon and husband Joseph of Erie; 9 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; also several nieces and nephews.
     Friends may call at the Scott Funeral Home, 2104 Myrtle St., Erie on Friday 2-5 pm and are invited to attend a funeral service on Saturday at 1:00 pm at the funeral home.  Officiating the Rev. Roy P. Washill of St. John's Lutheran Church.  Interment Laurel Hill Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Erie County Public Library, 160 East Front St., Erie, PA 16507.
