Audrey Ann Paczynski Natcher, age 82, formerly of Harborcreek, passed away January 28, 2022 at the Alamance Regional Medical Center in Burlington NC.
Born in Erie on May 31, 1939, she was the only child of Stanley and Janet Laskowski Paczynski.
She was a graduate of McDowell High School, and attended Penn State Behrend later in life to work on her certificate to do chemical dependency counseling. In her early years, she modeled for Halle’s Department Store. She worked for General Electric for 25 years and retired in 1994. After retiring, she and her husband started a small business, Geraud Enterprises, making children’s and doll furniture and would travel to craft shows throughout PA, NY, and Virginia.
Her faith and her children were the most important parts of her life. She was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Church in Harborcreek, where she was very involved and volunteered with many activities including the annual summer festival. She was a volunteer in the Rainbows program, led religious education sessions with her husband, and completed cursillo. She and her husband bowled for many years at Eastway lanes and loved fishing and being outdoors. She enjoyed traveling the country with her family and visited 43 states. She loved flowers and arranging them and sharing them with friends. She was very much a people person. She had an impact on every person she ever met. She was very loving and caring but was also a force to be dealt with when she felt anyone was in need. She was a rock for people to lean on and was always there when anyone needed an ear or a helping hand.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 33 years, Gerald James Natcher, and son, Christopher Erickson.
She is survived by her children: Liesa Yeargan and her husband Bryan; Holly Carter-Erickson; Susan Whiteman; Kimberly Edgett; David Wayne Natcher and Susan Birkmire; John William Natcher and his wife Christina; grandchildren: Natalie Carter; Ryan (Courtney) Whiteman; Kyle Whiteman; Nathaniel Edgett; Miranda Natcher; two great grandchildren, Quincy and Savannah, and several cousins.
