Audrey Mclallen

Audrey Jean Morehouse McLallen, age 89, of Millcreek, passed away Monday December 18^th 2017.

She was born in Erie on January 8, 1928 daughter of the late Clyde and Evelyn Sharrer Morehouse.

Audrey graduated from Academy High School class of 1946, attended St. Paul's Lutheran Church and belonged to the V.F.W. Post # 470 Ladies Auxiliary, American Legion Post # 571, and was a life member of Huzar Club and the Fulton Club

She was an accountant for Marx Toys in Erie and V.W. Sales in Detroit, MI and owned and operated a hardware store with her former husband in Ft.  Meyers, FL.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Thomas Bloom and her second husband  Milton “Buster” McLallen; brothers  Ted Morehouse, Delmont Morehouse, Larry Morehouse, and a sister, Barbara Schlindwein.

She is survived by five stepdaughters, Valarie Fleitz and her husband Ron of Tennessee, Kathy Loparo and her husband Ed of Ohio, Judy Ward and her husband Frank of Missouri, Connie Vrable and her husband Pat of Pittsburgh, and Nancy Madara and her husband Tom of McKean; three stepsons, Thomas Bloom of Ohio, David McLallen and his wife Penny of McKean and Ronald McLallen and his wife Cammie of Fairview; as well as several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

 Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home, on Tuesday December 26 from 4:00 until the time of the service at 6:00 pm.

 Burial will be private in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
