Audrey Hershelman

Audrey R. Hershelman age 81, of Erie, passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at UPMC Hamot.

She was born in Erie on March 24, 1935 a daughter of the late Delbert and Louise Keinholtz Dalrymple.

She graduated from Strong Vincent High School and for many years owned and operated H and J Associates Tax Preparation.

Audrey was a member of Simpson Cascade United Methodist Church and for many years with her husband was a member of GWRR (Gold Wing Riders).

She enjoyed traveling, especially with her husband, and taking rides around the peninsula.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Hershelman in 2013; two sisters, Mary Dieteman and Kathleen Johnson; and a brother, Delbert Dalrymple Jr.

She is survived by two sons, Mark (Wanda) Hershelman of Franklin, PA and Tim Hershelman of Erie; two granddaughters, Sarah (Whit) of TX and Jenna (Patrick) of Erie; two great grandchildren, Dylan and Whitson; a dear friend, Karen Johnson and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 W 26th Street (at Powell Ave) on Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. and are invited to attend a service there on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m.

Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
