Audrey Dietz

Audrey A. Deptula Dietz, age 77, of Erie passed away Saturday May 17, 2014 at St. Vincent Health Center.

She was born in Erie on March 2, 1937 daughter of the late Leo Deptula and Carolyn Janas Deptula.

Audrey was a 1955 graduate of Saint Benedicts Academy High School and was a member of St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church.

She was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert J. “Bubba” Dietz Sr.

She is survived by a daughter, Carrie Jaskiewicz and her husband Valentine of Harborcreek; a son, Robert Dietz Jr. and his wife Bronwyn of Erie; and three grandchildren, Hannah and Ellen Jaskiewicz and Sydney Dietz. She is also survived by a sister, Mary Jane Krysiak and her husband Gerald of Erie; a brother, Leonard Deptula and his wife Joan of Dayton, OH and many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call at St. Ann Roman Catholic Church, 921 East Ave. Erie PA 16503 on Friday from 10:00 until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial there at 11:00 am with Rev. James O’Hara celebrating. Burial will be private.
