Armanda Earl Vaughn

Armanda Vaughn was born on July 21, 1968, to Geraldine Vaughn and the late Fred Albert McCall. She was the beloved granddaughter of the late Moses and Christine Vaughn.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Earl Vaughn, her father, Fred McCall, her grandparents, Moses and Christine Vaughn, uncles, Joseph Lewis Vaughn, and Moses Vaughn Jr. She is further preceded by her aunts, Armenda McCall, and Gloria Jean Odom.

Armanda was a dedicated employee of St. Vincent for more than 10 years. She was a wonderful mother who deeply loved and cherished her children. She was passionate about music and poetry, and her hard work and vibrant personality could always brighten any room.

She leaves behind two children, Aaron Vaughn Sr. and LaFaysha Vaughn, a stepson, Delvin Crosby, and her cherished grandson, Aaron Vaughn Jr. She is also survived by her brothers Andre McCall, Derrick McCall, and Carmen McCall, and her sisters Tanaga Howard and Melissa McCall, along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.

Armanda will be deeply missed. Her laughter and radiant smile brought joy to those around her. Known for her wit, humor, and love for people, she had a remarkable ability to uplift others. Heaven has truly gained an angel.

Family and friends are invited to gather at Burton Quinn-Scott Cremation & Funeral Services Inc. Downtown, 602 W. 10th St., on Friday, February 21, 2025, from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M., followed by a funeral service. Burial will take place at Lakeside Cemetery.
