Ardella Jankowski age 84, retired customer service rep from York Town Giant Eagle where she worked for 17 years, passed away on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at St. Vincent.
She was born in Ashland, KY on July 14, 1936.
Ardella enjoyed bowling, Artex painting and doing puzzles, but the most joy she had in her life was spending time with her children. She would do anything for her children to see them happy even if it meant her happiness would suffer. She also loved her dog Charlie to the point of sharing a bowl of ice cream with him every night before bed.
Ardella was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years Michael Jankowski and her mother May Price.
She is survived by two sons, Michael and John Jankowski; two daughters, Pam Jankowski and Terry Minnich Krolczyk and her husband Tony; to her four grandchildren she was known as “Nanu”, John, Amanda, Joey and Kirstina and six great grandchildren. Ardella is also survived by her sister and best friend, Elsie Mills of Akron OH.
Services were held private at the convenience of the family by the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services 3801 W. 26th Street, Erie, PA 16506. Burial in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
