Anyiah Starr McCray age 9, of Millcreek passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2024 after living with Epilepsy and Dravet Syndrome since she was 3 months old.
She was born in Erie on April 20, 2015 a daughter of William McCray and Alicia Markham.
She was attending Asbury Elementary School.
Anyiah loved anything and everything pink. She especially loved spending time with all her siblings. She enjoyed being outdoors, riding her bike and playing on electronics. She really loved music and loved to sing. Her favorite movie was Frozen and loved anything to do with a princess and always wanted to paint her nails. Anyiah also enjoyed going to McDonalds and saying her favorite phrase “You’re Fired”!!! Anyiah always knew how to make anyone smile.
She was preceded in death by her godmother, Christina Horn and an uncle, William Carrol.
She is survived by her mother, Alicia Markham and her step-father, Brian Reeves; father, William McCray; her siblings, Isaiah, Natasha, Zaiona and Alaina Markham, Kamara, Kavic, Willie, Derrion, Quil, Alayzha, Julyssa and Moe Moe McCray and Nevaeh Lunger; grandparents, Darlene Miller and Benjamin Bebe; aunts and uncles, Robert Miller and his wife Kimberly, Niomi Miller, Jessica Arocho, Michael Markham, Amie Harris and John Keller; her godfather, Justin Bennett and many, many cousins.
Friends may call at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, West Ridge 3801 W. 26th Street on Thursday, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Memorials may be made to the family, in care of the Funeral Home.
