Anthony V. “Tony” Pellican, age 90, of Erie passed away Wednesday August 22, 2018 at Western Reserve.
Tony was born in Erie, May 22, 1928, son of the late Cosmo and Mary Mammana Pellican. He graduated from Academy High School, served in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict and retired from Hammermill Paper after over 40 years of service in the mill.
He was a member of the Knights of St. John and the Sacred Heart Ushers Club. Tony was an avid football fan and played for Academy High School. Tony enjoyed swimming, was an accomplished cook and loved animals.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Christopher Pellican.
Tony is survived by his daughter Patricia Seman and her husband Karl of Erie; his son Chris Pellican of NC; a granddaughter Krystal Hoelke and her husband Scott and a great-grandson Connor. He is further survived by a brother Cosmo Pellican and his wife Maxine and many nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are private and are entrusted to the Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 West 26th Street Erie, PA 16506.
