Anthony "T-Bones" Liberatore age 63 of Erie passed away at UPMC Hamot on Friday, May 17, 2013 following a lengthy illness.
He was born in Erie, PA on September 30, 1949 the son of the late Anthony and Yvonne DiNunzio Liberatore.
Tony was graduated of Strong Vincent High School and the Erie Business Center. He served in the United States Air Force from 1968 to 1972.
Tony was employed in construction and truck driving for 30 years, and later in sales in the trucking industry.
He was a member of St. Julia Roman Catholic Church and the Erie Maennerchor, where he was a duck pin bowler. He also enjoyed playing golf, hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife Carol Corsi Liberatore, whom he married in 1973; his son Jamie Liberatore; and his sister, Linda Farver and her husband Pat, all of Erie; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 West 26th Street (at Powell Avenue), on Monday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. and are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Julia Catholic Church, 638 Roslyn Ave., Erie, 16505.
Memorials may be made to the family in care of the Burton Westlake Funeral Home.
