Anthony L. Cipriani, Sr., age 63, of Saegertown and formerly of Erie died Thursday, November 24, 2016. He was born September 15, 1953 in Erie the son of the late Anthony Cipriani and Victoria Santos Cipriani Romanski.
Anthony was a graduate of Strong Vincent High School and had served with the US Army. He had worked as an inspector for Lord Corp. and later AccuTec. He enjoyed bowling and playing softball and horseshoes, but was especially happy when spending time with his two grandsons. Anthony was also an avid sports fan who loved watching the New York Yankees and Cleveland Browns sports teams.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Harry Romanski and a brother, Mark Cipriani.
Anthony is survived by a daughter, Kelly Cipriani ( Debra Smith) and a son, Anthony Cipriani, Jr. (Margaret Lipp) and two grandsons, Sam and Max Cipriani. He is also survived by two sisters; Victoria Schwindt (Gary) and Barbara Roberts (Brad) along with a niece and nephews.
Friends are invited to call at the John J. Quinn Funeral Home, West 9th & Liberty St. on Tuesday from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Erie VA Medical Center Activities Fund, 135 E.38th St., Erie, PA 16504.
