Anna Seaberg

December 4, 1931 — August 12, 2016

Anna Wagner Seaberg age 84, of Millcreek, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, August 12, 2016 following a brief illness.

She was born in Bad Aibling, Germany on December 4th, 1931 the daughter of the late Georg and Theresa Selzer Wagner.

Anna grew up in rural Germany. She met her husband while he was stationed in Germany during the Korean Conflict and came to the United States in 1955.

She had worked at Super Duper, New York Bagel in Erie and Pittsburgh Bagel in Meadville for many years. Anna and her husband were very active at Elmwood Presbyterian Church for many years. In recent years, she has attended Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church.

Anna was never happier than when in the kitchen. She loved cooking and baking. Her family and friends loved her potato salad.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Carl Seaberg; a son Robert Seaberg; a daughter Ruth Seaberg; and a brother, Georg Wagner.

Anna is survived by her son Richard Seaberg of Chicago, IL; two sisters, Maria Weinacker and her husband Karl of NM and Martha Krinner of Germany. She is also survived by her dear friend Pam Ormsbee and many neighbors and friends who cared for her. A special thank you to the Torok family for including Anna as part of their family.

Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 West 26th Street (at Powell Avenue) on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm and are invited to a service on Thursday at 10 a.m. at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, 1603 W. 32nd St. Erie, PA 16508 with Rev. Kristen Papson officiating.

Burial will follow in Erie Cemetery.
