Anna Marie Burch Licsko

Anna Marie Burch Licsko age 89, of Fairview, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at Fairview Manor.

She was born in Philadelphia, PA on June 20, 1924, a daughter of the late John and Anna Marie Cullany Reilly.

Marie worked at Ervite Corporation for over 20 years and was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church in Girard.

Marie was a very kind and giving person who adored her family and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She enjoyed shopping, family picnics, and campfires. She especially enjoyed spending time at Presque Isle State Park. Marie liked to travel and especially enjoyed trips to Philadelphia to see her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Eugene Burch; second husband, Frank Licsko; a brother, Joseph Reilly and a sister Josephine Miller.

She is survived by a daughter, Christine Zimmer of Erie; three sons, Steven Burch and his wife Robin of Albion, Kelly Burch and his wife Liz of Erie, and Andy Burch and his wife Sallie of Fairview; six grandchildren, Megan Greenberg, Ryan Sinnott, Travis Burch, Matthew Burch, Gregory Burch and Ashley Erwin; and four great grandchildren. She is further survived by her loving sister in Philadelphia, Bonnie Hartman.

The family would like to thank the staff at Fairview Manor for their kindness and loving care during the four years Marie resided there.

Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 W. 26th Street Erie (at Powell Ave) on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. and are invited to attend a service there on Monday at 11:00 a.m. with Monsignor David Rubino officiating.

Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
