Ann Marie

Ann Marie, age 70, passed away on Wednesday October 11, 2023 at St. Vincent Hospital. She was born on March 1, 1953 in Cambridge, England to the late Roger and Honor Linsday Rayner.

Ann worked in the daycare at Pennbriar Athletic Club for over 15 years, retiring in 2000. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren especially taking them shopping, cooking, knitting, going to the beach, travelling and golfing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Kathleen Burns and Susan Gill.

Ann is survived by her husband of 52 years, William L. Marie; her children, Stacey Marie (Lawrence Fisher) and Dustin Marie (Amy) both of Wattsburg, PA; 4 grandchildren, Dylan Marie, Sydney Marie, Reese Marie and Emma Marie-Fisher; a sister, Sally Buffington (Terry) of Griffin, GA; 2 brothers, Roger Rayner (Sue) of Cambridge, England, and Pete Rayner of Griffin, GA and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may call on Friday, October 20, 2023 at Burton Quinn Scott Wintergreen, 2532 Norcross rd., Erie, PA 16510 from Noon until the time of service at 2:00 pm with Mike Ripple officiating. Burial to follow in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
