Ann Difilippo

Ann Mary DiFilippo age 89, of Erie, passed away Monday, February 10, 2014 at Pleasant Ridge Manor West.

She was born in Erie on February 8, 1925, a daughter of the late Peter and Agnes Boris.

She attended East High School.

Ann worked for many years at Ormonds and Halle Brothers.

Ann was a member of Bible Ambassadors Church.

She was a Christian lady who loved Bible study and especially loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Angelo DiFilippo; a sister, Sophie Gorchinsky; a brother James Boris and a daughter in law, Colleen DiFilippo.

She is survived by three sons, Dennis DiFilippo and his wife Gloria of East Aurora,NY, Ronald DiFilippo and his wife Barb of Edinboro, PA, and Robert DiFilippo of Erie; seven grandchildren, Sarah, Cari-Ann, Darren, Michael, Daniel, Damian and Amy; 11 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 W. 26th Street Erie, Pa 16506 on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Dan Porath officiating.

Burial will be private in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
