Ann Csepela

Ann Catherine Csepela, age 88, of Erie, passed away Friday, May 30, 2014 at St. Mary’s at Asbury Ridge.

She was born in Hudson, NY on October 7, 1925, a daughter of the late John and Rose Colwell Shea.

She was a graduate of Philmont High School. Ann had been an organist and music director at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in Montclair, NJ for many years. She also taught piano and organ lessons to many over the years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Hubert Shea.

Survivors include her daughters, Theresa Gerney and her husband Alex of Green Township, NJ.;

Carolyne Andrusky and her husband Roger of Waterford; four grandchildren: Sharmon Valerian, Mark Pedalino, Rebecca Keener, and Alan Andrusky; four great grandchildren: Michaela, Caitlin, Isabella, and Evelyne; nearest and dearest cousin Joseph Haag; and dear friends Deb and Rich Reilly.

Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home, 3801 West 26th Street (at Powell Ave.) on Saturday from 12noon until the time of service at 1pm with Rev. Michael DeMartinis celebrant. Burial to follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
