Ann Brookhouser

Ann Marie Brookhouser, age 63, of Erie, died at her residence surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, All Saints’ Day. She was born in Erie, Pa. on December 23, 1958 a daughter of the late Robert Brookhouser and Shirley Haskins Brookhouser Tucholski (Chet). Ann was a student at Strong Vincent High School before receiving a degree in geriatric nursing from Mercyhurst College in North East, Pa. She loved her children and grandchildren and made them her world doing every fun activity with them in mind.

 In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her partner, Ronald Drew in 2016; her daughter’s father, Gary Scarpitti; and an infant nephew, Jamie Brookhouser in 1970.

Ann is survived by her mother Shirley and stepfather Chet Tucholski, her three children; David John Ramsey, his children, Adam, Makiah, Annabelle, and Yvonne Ramsey; Patrick Scott (Katie) Brookhouser, his children, Alexis, Sophia and Charlotte Brookhouser and Isaac Meeker; and Tiffany Ann Brookhouser, her children, Wyatt Knight (along with his father, Christopher), Gabriel , Edward, all of Erie. Ann also leaves six siblings; Gail Drushel (Terry), of OH, Kenneth Brookhouser (Chris), of Fairview, Donald Eugene Brookhouser, of Erie, Sue Kuebler, of Fairview, Becky Brookhouser, of Fairview, and Robert R. Brookhouser (Vivian), of Erie. Many, many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews also remain along with special friends: Ruth, Mary, Kim, Laurie, the “Listening Hearts Group” and the Benedictine nuns and their families. Family would like to thank Dr. Seastone and Dr. Carvelli for the care given to Ann.

Friends may call at Burton Quinn Scott Funeral and Cremation Services Inc., 602 West 10^th Street, on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 from 1:00 P.M. until time of a memorial service there at 3:00 P.M.
