Angelina Mineo

Angelina P. Mineo age 85, of Erie, passed away Sunday, May 11, 2014 at her residence following a short illness.

She was born in Brooklyn, NY on December 18, 1928 a daughter of the late Orazio and Theresa Paliseno.

Angelina enjoyed cooking, watching the Walton’s and taking care of the home. She loved spending time with her family and her cat Emma.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph and Nicholas Paliseno.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Ralph J. Mineo; three children, Ralph Mineo and his wife Darlene of Harrisburg, Karen Mineo of Northeast, and John Mineo and his wife Debbie of Erie; five grandchildren, Nicole Mineo, Danielle Frano, Christopher Mineo, Gina Brushwitz and Corrine Gibson; 10 great grandchildren; two brothers, Frank and Dominic Paliseno and a sister Mary Albi. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Regional Cancer Center and Great Lakes Hospice for their care and support during Angelina’s illness.

Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 W. 26th Street (at Powell Ave) on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be held private at the convenience of the family.
