Angela Cook

Angela Marie Cook age 78, of Millcreek, passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at UPMC Hamot.  

She was born in Pittsburgh, Pa on June 22, 1939, a daughter of the late Frank and Lillian Donatelli Trozzi.

Angela graduated from Penn Hills High School and received a MS in Education from the University of Pittsburgh.

She worked in early childhood education for over 45 years in preschools in New York, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Ohio, and California. She retired after 32 years at St. Stephens Episcopal Church in Fairview where she served as Lead Teacher and School Administrator and touched the lives of many local area children and families. .

Angela was a member of Holy Cross Church for over 40 years and a 35 year member of the Commodore Perry Yacht Club.

She is survived by and will be greatly missed by her husband of 55 years, Thomas G. Cook of Fairview; three children, Lee Ann Fraser of Marietta, GA, Gina Spath of Charlotte, NC and Timothy Cook and his wife Christina of Clearwater, FL and five grandchildren, Ian and Emma Fraser, Hailey Spath, and Lillian and Mia Cook.

Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 W 26^th Street (at Powell Ave) on Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m.  and 6 to 8 p.m.  and are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Church 7100 W. Ridge Road, Fairview, PA 16514.
