Allora Biebel

Allora Rogers Biebel age 67, of Erie, passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at UPMC Hamot.

She was born in Erie on March 14, 1947 a daughter of the late Chuck and Ester Huber Wilson.

Allora graduated from Strong Vincent High School. Her greatest joy was God and her family. She was a member of New Life Community Church.

She was a very active volunteer for Because you care and did tutoring in many schools throughout Erie. She had been a foster parent to her niece and nephew. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and doing genealogy.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Gerald Earl Biebel and a son in law, Michael Lee.

She is survived by four daughters, Carol Fedei and her husband Barry of Fairview, Cindy Biebel Whitcomb of Lexington, KY, Amy Biebel Lee of North East, and Jackie Carr and her husband Dennis of Perry, OH; seven grandchildren, Ashleigh and Courtney Fedei, Cassie, Amber and Nathan Whitcomb, Jeramy and Allora Lee; one great granddaughter to be, baby girl Wolfe; two brothers, Frank Rogers of AL, and Bud Rogers of Waterford; a sister, Erna Rogers Morrell of Erie and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 W. 26th Street (at Powell Ave) on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. Burial to follow in Fairview cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the ANNA Shelter 1555 E. 10th Street, Erie, PA 16511 or to the New Life Community Church 1755 Lord Road, Fairview, PA 16415.
