Alex Howard

Alex Nathan Howard, age 25, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 10, 2021.

He was born on May 27, 1995, in Erie, to Michael and Catherine (Newcomb) Howard.

Alex graduated from McDowell High School, class of 2013. After graduation, he attended Fortis Institute. Alex was employed at Ellwood National Forge in Corry. He enjoyed listening to music, watching football and gaming. Alex loved exploring nature, the beach, fishing and taking walks. In his younger years, Alex and his brother played paintball often. Most of all, Alex enjoyed spending time with friends and family, especially his children.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Nathan and Norma Jean (Chapin) Howard; maternal grandfather, Richard Wagoner; his an uncle, Stephen Newcomb; a brother in infancy, Matthew Howard; brother, Michael Howard; and his cousin and best friend, Ryan Newcomb.

In addition to his parents, Alex will be forever missed and loved by his fiancé, Joanna Jackson; his son, Christian; step-son, Liam; maternal grandmother, Shirley (Holmstrom) Wagoner; aunts, Karin McKinney, Sheryl Dunn, Marjorie Jenks, Katherine Willover, and Lori Zundel; uncles, Patrick McKinney, Edward Newcomb, and Richard Wagoner; and many cousins and friends.

Friends are invited to call at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services Inc Downtown, 602 W. 10^th St, Erie 16502 on Saturday, May 15, 2021 from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at noon with Deacon Joseph Cicero officiating. Burial will follow in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery. All CDC Guidelines including facemasks will be observed.
