Albert Niedzielski, age 82, of Lake City, passed away Thursday April 30, 2015 at home, surrounded by his family.
He was born in Erie, on February 6, 1933, a son of the late Frank E. and Mary M. Kowolski Niedzielski.
Albert graduated from Erie Technical High School, class of 1952. He was co-founder of Accurate Finishing and was founder and president of Industrial Sales & Manufacturing, which he sold to the employees. Albert retired at age 46, establishing Misty Brook Farms. He was a member of Knights of Columbus, The Saints & Sinners Club, St. John’s Church in Girard, Girard American Legion and was a lifetime member of the Erie Maennerchor Club.
Albert is survived by his angel of 61 years, his wife, Lois Niedzieki; a daughter, Dawn Howard and her husband Tony of Lake City, and two sons, David Niedzielski and his wife Ann Connelly of Pratville, AL and Dale Niedzielski and his wife, Terri of Chardon, OH; he is also survived by seven grandchildren: Christopher, Stephen (Joie), Erika, Skyler, and Christen Niedzielski and Andrew and Ashley Cline; as well as one great grandchild, Riley Niedzielski.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Doctors Robert and Allen Esper, Dr. Rothman and the Regional Cancer Center for their compassion and concern; as well as Great Lakes Hospice Team of Janet Bourne and Veronica Walker.
Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main Street East, in Girard, on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8pm, and are invited to attend a funeral service there on Wednesday at 11am, in the All Faith Chapel, with Reverend Bill Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
