Albert Knight Sr.

Albert L. Knight, Sr., age 85, of Erie, passed away on Monday, February 13, 2023 at his residence.

He was born in Oil City on June 19, 1937, son of the late Henry and Irene Ausul Knight.

Albert worked for American Tinning for over 40 years as a metal finisher. He was a life member of the Siebenbuerger Club.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia “Patty” Church Knight; his son Albert L. “Buddy” Knight as well as brothers and sisters.

Surviving family consists of his daughter, Darlene Knight of Phoenix, AZ; two sons, Thomas Knight (Cindy) of Colorado Springs, CO and Alan Knight (Bonnie) of Syracuse, NY; step children, Tom Smith (Darcy) and David Smith, both of Erie; and his sisters, Patricia McInchak (Tom) and Frances Thompson, both of Erie. He is further survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Friends may call at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, West Ridge, 3801 West 26th St. Erie, PA 16506 on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and are invited to attend a service there on Monday at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
