Alan Smith

Alan Smith, age 77, of Erie, passed away Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at Saint Vincent Hospital. He was born in Corry, PA, August 13, 1943 to the late Gordon and Charlotte Sallott Smith. Alan graduated from McDowell High School, before becoming a Milk Man for Sterling Milk, and Meadow Brook.

He loved the outdoors, especially camping, and fishing.

Alan is survived by his sister, Phyllis Kranz (Don), his children, Michelle Sweeney (Tim), Alan Smith (Shannon), and Stephanie Smith. He is further survived by his grandchildren; Daniel and David Sweeney, Kayla, Hannah, and Haven Smith, Jonathon Smith, Tyler, Kristofer, and Brennan Fenno. Alan is survived by one great granddaughter, Brooklyn Smith, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Alan is preceded in death by his wife, Janet Smith; and sisters Claire Long and Sally O'Connel.

Arrangements are entrusted to Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Service Inc. Downtown 602 W. 10^th St. Erie.
