Alan Laskey

Alan Laskey, age 71, of Erie, passed away Friday, November 25, 2022 at UPMC Hamot Hospital. He was born in Erie, February 4, 1951 to the late Wilfred P. and Evelyn Klemm Laskey. Alan was a graduate of Tech Memorial High School before enlisting in the United States Navy, serving during the Vietnam War, after his time in the military, Alan retired as a tool and die maker.

He loved to bowl with his family, golfing, fishing, camping, and biking. Alan was the king of dad jokes.

He is survived by his wife Eileen Laskey, his children, Vicky Acosta (Cesar), Shelley Holdsworth (Mark), and Mike Laskey. Alan is further survived by his grandchildren, Ian, Simon, Oliver, Tory, Abby, Marissa, Emma, Joshua, Tyler, and Vincent; by his great grandchildren, Evelyn, and Roman. He is survived by his siblings, Joyce Sabo (Andy), Patrick Lasky, and Cheryl Mowery.

In addition to his parents, Alan is preceded in death by his sister, Deborah Laskey.

Friends are invited to a graveside service with full Military Honors at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery, 2601 Norcross Road, Erie.
