Aiden Cottrell

Aiden Matthew Cottrell, age 6 months, passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2015 after a courageous battle with chronic lung disease.

He was born in Erie, on January 17, 2015, a son of Wesley and Amanda Miller Cottrell.

Aiden was a fighter from the moment he was born.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his three brothers: Derek A., Bryce V. and Cody L., Cottrell, all at home; his grandparents: Timothy and Gigi Miller of Albion, Shelly Miller and Jackie Meinhart of Erie and Sam and Anita Gabel of Albion. He is further survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and great grandparents.

The family wishes to thank Grady’s Decision, the St. Vincent NICU and Pittsburgh Children’s Hospital staff for the support they have given them; and to all the family and friends that have been with them every step of the way.

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St. East, in Girard, on Monday from 4 until the time of a prayer service at 7 p.m. Memorials may be made to Grady’s Decision, 5390 Cray Road, Erie, PA 16509.
