Adam P. Mott, age 34, of Erie lost his battle with PTSD and addiction on Thursday, January 29,2015. He was born March 22, 1980 in Erie the son of James C. Mott of Kissimmee, FL and Janet Buckel Mott of Erie.
Adam graduated with High Honors from Central High School in 1998 and left immediately for basic training. He served with the US Army from June 1998 to June 2003, which included a nine month tour of duty overseas. His achievements in the Army were many and he had a great love for all animals, and for working out in the gym.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents and two aunts.
Besides his parents, Adam is survived by a stepfather, Paul Sullivan and three sisters, Lisa, Rebecca, and Julia Mott. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends are invited to call at the John J. Quinn Funeral Home, West 9th & Liberty St. Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at which time a Funeral Service will be held at 8:00 PM. Burial will be private.” May you now have the peace you so greatly deserve”.
